A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a story of love, lust, identity and rebellion. Performed outdoors by three actors, Helikon Theatre Company breathes life into a riotous new version of Shakespeare’s treasured classic. Perfect for our time, the dream asks us to imagine a world that’s broken open by a bumpy night in the forest, where anarchy rules and chaos makes us question the natural order of things. 

Helikon Theatre Company are a group of theatre-makers who create rich new work from the resonances of classical texts and ancient forms, striving to articulate both the human and the impossible. We break open older, classical texts and, sucking up all the good juices, put them in a form that’s fit for a modern audience.
